One of the clearest ways the Bible tells us to live out that love is found in James 1:27 — caring for orphans and widows in their distress.
Around the world today, there are believers quietly doing exactly that. Rescuing children. Caring for widows. Bringing the hope of Christ into the darkest places.
On April 23, World Challenge will be hosting a special event at Times Square Church called A Light for the Forgotten. Led by Pastor Gary Wilkerson, they will be sharing stories of what God is doing through their ministry to orphans and widows around the world. It will be a time in worship and prayer together.
