Pastor Jesse
A middle-aged pastor wise beyond his years who’s grieving the sudden loss of his wife and daughter while struggling to lead a congregation as he battles depression and PTSD. He puts immense pressure on himself to be the perfect preacher, projecting a false image of who he is to the outside world.

Eli
A high school-age boy with a nonchalant, stoic exterior but inside is secretly struggling with depression and anxiety. A sudden injury gets in the way of his love for piano, and he feels stuck inside his own head, skeptical of God’s existence.
Meet the Characters
Lisa
A single mom to Eli, her only son, whom she loves more than anything in the world, but is completely oblivious to his struggles. Her faith is incredibly important to her. Though well-meaning, she can come across as hyper-religious and out of touch.
