We have been feeding Middle East refugee kids in Athens, Greece for 12 years. They come with so little that the moms are willing to endure a Bible lesson with their hands over their ears so they can get a hot meal for their kids. Eventually, the hands come down and relationships form.
When the refugee crisis occurred, they moved the feeding to public squares and learned to safely prepare and pack food for public distribution. This experience was helpful for the pandemic as they qualified to distribute meals 3 days per week.
Among those they have been serving is a group of Syrian refugee families. Over the past two months, they have developed strong relationships, and witnessed their hearts open to Jesus!
