Connect Groups
Connect Groups are how we care for each other.
Connect Groups bring us together, bringing faith into the reality of our everyday life.
Connect Groups are how we care for and
support one another.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to lead a group. Being a Connect Group leader is simply about creating a space for fellowship and encouraging others on their spiritual journey—something anyone can do.
To get started, choose an activity or topic that you’re passionate about, then select a time and place to meet with others and share it. We believe God uses Connect Groups to transform lives, and as a leader, you get to be part of that.

You’ve probably seen connect groups meeting and not even realized it. A connect group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a connect group is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in connect groups, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life-giving conversation and request prayer.
Childcare varies from group to group. When you search our directory for a group, the group profile will indicate if childcare is available.
The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you to select a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders and try out a couple different groups before choosing the best one for you. The simple strategy to finding success in connect groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!
Most connect groups meet quarterly – winter, spring, summer, and fall. During the quarter, most groups meet once a week. Connect groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life. Even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.
Connect groups meet anywhere from three months to a year or more! This way, we always have new groups for new people to join. The groups that meet quarterly allow you to try multiple groups each year. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for consecutive seasons, but new members are always welcome.
*I am under 18 years old, do you have any groups for me?
Yes! TSC Kids has groups for kids 12 and under and 212 has groups for teens 13 to 18 years old. You can use the connect group Types filter in the GroupFinder and select TSC Kids or 212. If you find a group that you would like to join that is not a TSC Kids or 212 group, you are welcome to join if a parent or guardian participates with you.
